Good morning Metro Stakeholder!!

  Exciting News for the Community! 

As part of Reinventing Metro Phase 3, we’re thrilled to announce that the brand-new Route 61 / Galbraith will hit the streets starting Sunday, August 11th, 2024! This fantastic new route will zip you through the Galbraith corridor, linking Madeira to Mt. Airy and connecting you to a host of key destinations.

Here’s what you need to know:

Weekday Service:

  • Every 30 minutes between Mt. Airy and downtown Reading, Ohio

  • Every 60 minutes between Mt. Airy and Madeira (including Madeira Park and Ride)

Operating Hours:

  • Service runs daily from 6 AM to 9:30 PM

This marks the debut of the first crosstown route in the area and the return of an all-day local route in Madeira for the first time in decades!

Key Stops Include:

  • Downtown Madeira

  • Kenwood Mall

  • Dillonvale

  • Deer Park

  • Amberley

  • Reading

  • Greyhound Bus Station

  • Hartwell

  • UC Drake Center

  • Finneytown

  • North College Hill

  • Groesbeck

  • Mt. Airy/Colerain Ave.

With over 30,000 people and 15,000 jobs within walking distance of this route, it's a game-changer for our community.
